Reducing The Need For Major Reconstruction
The Drying Company has saved customers thousands of dollars after water-damage disasters. TDC does not use the old-fashioned 'rip out and replace' methods of recovery. TDC specialized equipment can dry insulation, paneling, plaster walls, ceiling tiles, wood and metal studding, masonry block and concrete, and other structural material.

Eliminating the Possibility of Future Moisture Problems

Moisture related deterioration often occurs after a building has been water damaged: paint can peel, wood floors can swell or buckle, sheet rock can lose support and strength, electrical wiring can corrode and metal components can rust.
TDC takes steps to reverse the damage by the prompt use of deep drying techniques.

Salvaging Inventories, Carpeting and Furniture

The Drying Company can often dry carpeting, furniture, draperies, and equipment without removal. This step saves replacement costs and eliminates the disruption caused by taking items out.

Saving Books, Documents and Files

Water-damaged books, documents and files can all be saved. Whenever possible TDC dries files in place which allows access to records during the restoration process.
Larger projects, such as library contents are taken to a drying center for careful processing and restoration.

Restoring Valuable Wood Floors

The Drying Company restores businesses, gymnasiums, racquetball courts, department stores, theatres and more. Tenting is one of the special techniques used by TDC to deliver the proper amount of dry air in the appropriate manner to water-soaked floors which literally reverses buckling, cupping, and swelling.
Another special technique for saving hardwood floors involves high-pressure pumps for removing moisture and gradually returning floors to their normal condition, saving tens of thousands of dollars.

Inhibiting Biological Growth

Bacteria, mold and mildew grow where dampness is allowed to exist for extended periods. The Drying Company uses a special technology to arrest pathogenic growth. TDC's priority is the healthful restoration of each project.

Preserving Unflooded Areas From Moisture Damage

Flooded areas can create high humidity that effects other undamaged areas and their contents. The Drying Company prevents this by sealing off unaffected areas from those under restoration. If left unprotected, books grow mold on their covers, woodwork swells and buckles, and electrical systems can corrode. The Drying Company concentrates on protecting the entire building, while restoring your flooded area.
